What is homoeopathy :
Homoeopathy is a unique branch of medical science which deals with treatment of patients on the basis of law of similar, i. e. let likes be treated by likes.
Founder:
Homeopathy was founded by Dr. Samuel Hahnemann in west Germany in 1796.
Law of similar:
It is the main principle of Homoeopathy, it s a natural law. It's other name is let likes be treated by likes means the medicines cures same diseases which it produces in healthy human being.
Theory of vital force:
As modern science believes that ultimate of body is cell, homoeopathy believes that the life of material cell is due to immaterial force in our body which is known as vital force. It is a dynamic force which is immaterial in nature and governs the material body and maintains body in harmonious order.
It's a unique and individualistic concept of homeopathy on base of which whole homoeopathic science is builded.
Concept of Heath, Disease and Cure:

Theory of Potentisation:

Myth: All medicines are same.
Fact: Actually in homoeopathy, medicines are prepared from vegetable kingdom, animal kingdom and mineral kingdom and there are thousands of medicines which are in liquid form. The medicines which are given to patients are mostly in globules form which are prepared from lactose sugar and these globules are moistened with liquid potentised medicine. Due to this reason, all medicines look same , white globules, but inner content of liquid medicines are different.
Myth: It acts slowly.
Fact: Actually homoeopathic medicines act very fast provided given medicine is similimum and given in appropriate potency and repetition.
Myth: It acts only in chronic diseases.
Fact: In acute diseases also homoeopathic medicines act very fast and give very good results like fever of any type, acute pain in abdomen, etc.
